David Ramirez Joins NAFL Staff for 2026

Avon, OH – April 29, 2026 –

The North American Fall League is excited to announce that David Ramirez has been signed as a Coach for the league’s inaugural 2026 season.

Ramirez played baseball at Oxnard College, earning his AA, then received a full ride scholarship to New Mexico Highlands University. He went on to play at the University of California Lutheran, graduating in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Sports Medicine with an emphasis in Teaching and Coaching and a minor in Spanish.

Ramirez spent time with the San Diego Padres in spring training, before signing with the Long Beach Armada, where he spent four years, and eventually the St. George Roadrunners, both of the Golden Baseball League. He also played in the Inaugural Arizona Winter League with the Yuma Scorpions of the Golden Baseball League. His coaching and playing experience will both be huge benefits to the North American Fall League players, especially the catchers and pitching staffs.

The North American Fall League will begin play September 29th, 2026 with all regular season games and Championship game on October 23rd taking place at ForeFront Field in Avon - home of the Lake Erie Crushers of the Frontier League.
