Lemieux New Deputy Commissioner & Head of Baseball Operations
The North American Fall League and Jared Lemieux have finalized a promotion to Deputy Commissioner and Head of Baseball Operations for the 2026 Inaugural season! Of course its exciting
to have Jared on to manage the Renegades - and even more so to have the Crusher's Skipper & Head of Baseball Operations continue both roles with the NAFL for 2026!
Lemieux joined the Lake Erie Crushers in 2023; taking them to the playoffs the following season, snapping a four-year playoff drought. Lake Erie got their first playoff win in 11 years, beating Gateway in the Wild Card Game. Lemieux entered the Frontier League in 2021, serving as a hitting coach with the New Jersey Jackals before being hired as the field manager and head of baseball operations with the Crushers in 2023. The Crushers went 52-14 for the most wins since 2019. Lemieux is 103-86 in his first two seasons, with high expectations of the 2026 team.
Jared is a perfect fit as Deputy Commissioner &Head of Baseball Operations for the NAFL. His expertise gained from years of specializing in events showcasing free-agents, and directly mirroring his current role with the Lake Erie Crushers as we partner in his home ballpark, are truly an asset to the North American Fall League, the Managers, coaches & every single player who is fortunate enough to take the field for the inaugural season.
